WHAT IS "DEATH"?

What we refer to as "LIFE" is best described as an inter-active movie
that you are starring in, directing and re-writing with nearly every
scene you play just as if it was for real...the same way they do in
Hollywood!






All
of this world is illusion, like a movie, except the impressions we get
from it that help form our character...our essence...that is eternally
searching for the meaning of our own consciousness and the need to
learn, comprehend and understand all that we experience as we watch the
universal movie unfold one frame, one moment, one life at a time.







What
is the "purpose" of all this? We are all embryo Gods in the act of
becoming Creators of our own Universe to care for, maintain and,
ultimately, to destroy so we can begin again until we have mastered
that challenge and can accept even greater opportunities and
responsibilities in still another Multiversal venue. The illusion that
we are finite beings in a linear progression of limited time, like the
characters we watch in a 94 minute movie that hurry to get their story
told in the alloted interval, forces us to concentrate on this singular
pattern of energy that we come to identify wholly with and struggle to
fulfill our own destinies as we see them before we are forced to
succumb to the illusion of "death"...which is exactly the way it is in
movies. After the character dies and the camera moves to another scene,
the actor rises from where he has fallen and begins a new role in still
another movie where he is essentially the same but playing a new part
with new scenery and fellow actors.




I
cannot stress to you enough that no humans or animals are actually
harmed during the making of this "movie". They are all eternal beings
of light made up of indestructible photons that record every moment for
all eternity.






In the final analysis, we are only acting in our own movie and watching
others in theirs to learn that love is really all the "purpose" there
is...the desire to combine all that which appears to be separate in to
THE ONE. It's a stretch for the finite mind to comprehend the Infinite
and Eternal Cosmic Intention, but it's also inescapable. It is simply
All That Is.




There is no "DEATH"!






"Death" is the greatest of all human illusions. It is the ultimate Bogeyman
that
has been used as the FEAR FACTOR by every institution that has ever
found need to frighten and control us, whether Religious, Governmental
or Corporate. It is like our own personal 9/11 Terror. The very
contemplation of its certainty changes everything we think, do and
feel. We are driven by our fear of it to have developed a keen survival
instinct that often requires us to avoid full and thrilling contact
with our own lives and even to kill others we think are dangerous to
our continued existence.






Death represents the ultimate unknown to us so we try to
find some meaning in it from religion or philosophy. The ones we choose
to take comfort from determine the nature and quality of the lives we
live. An unsuccessful or destructive belief system can be a real bummer
for ourselves and those around us, to say the least!






The ultimate test of any Religion, Science or Philosophy is
how it leads us to the Truth, answers our questions about the nature of
our own and everyone
else's existence and how well it
provides us with the tools necessary for Peace, Happiness and a life
well lived. In that vein, consider this alternative way to think about
what we call "Death".





The
physical body is like a car you drive in this life. It requires fuel
and electricity, maintenance and repair etc to stay running. It is only
good for a certain number of miles and then it can no longer serve as a
suitable vehicle for your consciousness so you are given a new one to
use based somewhat on the care and treatment you gave the old one that
gets melted down for scrap and its materials are used to make new
machines of conveyance for other energies.





When
your old car gives up you get out of it and begin considering what you
need or want for your next vehicle. You will have a good deal of time
to consider your electable options and will receive ample assistance
and advisement during that process from your "advisers". The scenario
of your "postmortem" experience may be considered as part homecoming,
part school and part recreational opportunities so that you can better
regenerate and make your decision about your next mission in the
vehicle you will choose for it.


You
are currently experiencing "life" in the 3rd dimension and that is
where your consciousness is solely focused, except under certain
extraordinary waking circumstances and while you are asleep. During the
part of sleep where you are doing what we call "dreaming", your
consciousness is functioning and focused in the 4th dimension (where
you are much more at "home" than in the 3rd) while your body is forced
to regenerate its strength and undergo periodic maintenance
accomplished only during sleep...the "little death".







At
what we call physical "death", your consciousness is permanently
separated from your physical vehicle that is worn out or too damaged to
continue and you become completely and primarily focused in your 4th
dimensional existence which has still gone on continuously even while
it seemed to you that you were mostly focused in the 3rd.







Not
to over-simplify but to explain by way of a metaphor, all life is a
school. At this stage of human evolution on Earth, homo sapiens are
roughly in the "third grade" of their planned learning experience.
Previous to your earning a shot at this level of conscious expression,
your consciousness has used less complex and demanding vehicles to
express itself. First it inhabited various minerals and crystalline
structures. Then it had the experience of plant, insect and animal
vehicles for a comprehensive range of challenges to its budding earth
consciousness.




Through
a number of precisely planned opportunities, your consciousness was
allowed greater and more complex challenges under the supervision and
guidance of various "group souls" appropriate to the medium through
which your consciousness encountered material life until it was
prepared for its own independent soul and release from the group
soul(s) that superintended its earlier tests in other more elementary
forms.




Each
human life is like a single day at Earth School. It is a difficult and
demanding school and at the end of the day you are more than ready to
return to your home and family to rest up, play, study and prepare for
the next day when you will return to school for more learning.
Sometimes we are "called home" early to attend to some more important
business
elsewhere and sometimes we just choose to "skip" that
particular "day at school" out of boredom or to escape the unhappy
consequences of not preparing ourselves, being bullied or some other
excuse. It is usually much more fun to come home from school ("death")
under any circumstances than to head off for another day there
("birth").







There are "weekends", holidays and vacations just
as in a regular school and eventually you will graduate and be ready
for the "4th grade", with still many more complex and exciting
opportunities to come after that.




The
physical body needs "electricity" for motive power but the "astral" or
the 4th dimensional vehicle does so as well...and that source of power
is much more accessible and plentiful in the 4th state than in the 3rd
since you are one step closer to the source of that power operating at
a less stepped down level than what we can safely use in the physical
vehicle. Your consciousness is much less limited and obstructed in the
"4th grade" than it was in the 3rd!





Food,
water, sex and other human necessaries are not required in the 4th,
though you may certainly enjoy those experiences electively if you
choose...just for "fun".

The best books on the subject are
available on line in condensed form. I recommend that you "cure your
illusions" about death by reading the excellent series of books by A.
E. Powell. The first book is titled "The Etheric Double" which is the
energy envelope that allows your physical body to operate by
transforming cosmic energies in to physical energy via a step-down
transformer action. Next is "The Astral Body", "The Mental Body" and
"The Causal Body". The series culminates in a "tie it all together"
final book called "The Solar System". Once you have read those books
and taken all from them that you can, you will have no more "illusions"
about "death"...or even "life" for that matter. You may want to try
another book called "Space, Time and Self" by E. Norman Pearson to
prepare you for the others.

If you are not interested in
finding out the Truth about your own eternal nature and the mission all
of us are a part of right now, you will be given another opportunity
when you ultimately are. It will make little difference in your journey
except to understand why you are here, what's next and to understand
what we call "death". You might also read some simpler books like "Life
After Life" by Raymond Moody or any of the numerous books and on-line
articles written by people who have either researched or encountered
the "near death experience on their own. Just Google any of the above
referenced books. Study up a little on Reincarnation as well. Over half
of the 6.7 billion people alive now take it for granted. Even
Christians believe they will be "born again". They just can't remember
how!




You
do not have a "soul". Your "personality" is just one extension into
material existence of your soul, the same way that your personality has
many roles (son, child, adolescent, student, brother, friend, lover,
employee, father, spouse, grandparent, elder, member, dissident,
Truther, etc) it uses to learn and act . When your soul invests part of
its energy in a physical incarnation, it expects a return on its
investment...the more the better. When your "life" is through on earth,
you will take all of your learning and experience back to reunite with
your real total undivided self (soul) and that experience (the parts
worth saving for the soul's betterment) becomes a permanent part of the
soul for use in future incarnations.






Let's say that your life is full and you learn much. Think of your soul
as a 1000 gallon capacity tank and your "refined and distilled" life
will amount to 1 gallon of pure positive useful experience. Let's say
that due to your own personal effect on the retained experiences, they
are "colored" cardinal red. They are poured in on top of the
experiences of many other personalities invested by the soul...each
with its own distinct coloring. As they mix, they form one ever
changing color that reflects the admixture of all its incarnations
giving the soul a more rounded and complete experiential base.



In
my own life that I am living now I have been a son, brother, student,
athlete, thug, teacher, lover, farmer, hippie, husband, step father,
Christian, Theosophist, psychologist, cook, Realtor, investor, friend,
enemy, political activist, writer, philosopher, boxer, military man,
single person, womanizer, young, middle aged and "mature" person...as
well as many other episodic titles and situational realities that have
made me who I am now. The vast majority of my "personal existence" has
been unworthy of retention because it was just routine work, time spent
eating, driving, in the bathroom, watching useless mind numbing crap on
TV, scheming about unimportant bullshit and other "selfish" moronic
nonsense. Fortunately, none of that "wasted time" will be retained. The
really great news is that everything about me and you that was loving,
compassionate, unselfish, courageous, helpful etc will be preserved for
what we call Eternity. What's not to like about that?


I have
learned a million things through each of those roles or aspects I have
personified in this life. Together, they all have "colored" me and they
are all an eternal part of my experiential consciousness....and all
become a part of "my soul's" consciousness, which is eternal. Nothing
worthwhile of "me" will ever be lost to "death" that was of value to
the soul's investment.




There is no "death", only evolution of form and consciousness on their
way back from material existence to spiritual re-union...the
"at-ONE-ment".

The
true test of any religion, science or philosophy is that, alone or in
combination, it can answer all of your questions about the
meaningfulness and reason for existence....your own and everyone
else's. If it seeks to demean, divide, dis-respect, discriminate or
damage other life forms or promotes selfishness, hatred, jealousy,
revenge, envy, fear or hostility...then it is still a "work in
progress" with need of improvement.






No
religion, science or philosophy is "wrong" for those who require that
level of functioning as a necessary step in their evolutionary
experience, just as it is not "wrong" for a baby to be speechless or
forced to crawl, a child to be silly and ignorant, a teenage to be wild
and "out of control", a young adult to be overwhelmed with new
responsibilities and elders to think they "know it all".





Each
stage of development in either the microcosm of personal roles and
existence or the macrocosm of the soul's attempts to gain valuable
experience through incarnating personalities is like steps on a big
staircase. Though some are "lower" while others are "higher", each is a
necessary level that must be visited in order to get to the goal of our
climbing. We always seem to know when it is time to move on to the next
step of our journey.




If
you have any specific questions about this very brief thumbnail of a
universally vast subject, please feel free to share your curiosity with
me. It will no doubt represent an opportunity for both of us to learn
something about ourselves....but it is absolutely not "necessary", or
even suggested, that you or anyone change or abandon any of your core
"programming" until you are self motivated to do so. That is something
that you and all of us will intuitively feel beyond doubt when the
right time comes. Until then, if it ain't broke, don't try to fix it!
